Bratislava // Day Trip (+ BLOGGER OF THE YEAR)

Last Wednesday me, my mum and my sister went on a trip to the Bratislava. Only for one day, however it was totally worth it! We woke up in the morning, the sky was grey and it seemed like it was going to rain. The perfect day to travel! (haha) We got there about 11:00 am. Our first stop was (because we are girls) Eurovea, which is huge shopping center. When we came near the JOJ TV, my sister fangirled a little bit. I have to say, my first stop was H&M Home. I just wanted to buy everything and take it home with me. I really could not decide what one (or more) to choose to keep me company at home. Meanwhile my mum and sister decided to go for a lunch, but I was so hypnotised, I just stayed there for another ten or fifteen minutes. When I calmed down from excitement a little bit, I decided to look around. I have found this amazing shop "Koton", where I bought a few things. Then went back to the H&M and finally got something I wanted (and needed). I am so pickey, that sometimes it annoyes me too (I feel sorry for my family).
After my little spree and their lunch we went to the historic city center. The second we walked outside the wind almost blowed us away. It is really fun to watch people fighting with the wind. Hair in they mouths, eyes almost closed...Oh mother nature, you are so powerful!

Sweater Weather - Denim&Hat

I am so happy, that I can finally share with you my favourite autumn outfit! Nice classy look is evergreen. I completly fell in love with this long cardigan. I found this treasure in vintage shop, and at first I wasn't really sure about it. You know, if I am able to weare it enough. I can tell you, I have a lot of clothes hanging in my closet, which I don't wear often. So I put it back on the hanger. About thirty minutes later I saw Mango advertisement all over the city with a girl in it wearing simular cardigan. This must be fate! The next day I run back into the shop, and miraculously it was still there. That is the whole story of THE cardigan.

It is made from 50% wool, so I don't have to worry about getting cold. I can tell you, I wore it on a chilly day, when people around me wore warm jackets, and I was fine, it kept me warm all day long. What is better, the cardigan is soft. I love the feeling like I am covered up in a blanket while I am walking. (In this case it is more dressing gown than blanket...haha.)

What I love to do is adding to this outfit nice floppy hat. This one I also found in vintage shop. (Told you that you can find treasures in there.) It was a coincidence. It literally fell to my knees. The hat is made from 100% wool. (Soon enough I will be woolen queen!...Just kidding...haha) I think that nowadays hats are a little bit overpriced, for that reason I am really glad I have found this one. In the Czech Republic hats are still something extraordinary. You can see people on the streets turning their heads when they spot someone with a hat. However I was suprised and pleased at the same time, when a older women came to me in a bookshop and said, that I have a nice hat. It really makes your day!

Then  I got inspired again from Mango advertisement, and added to it denim shirt. It has white hearts on it, so it is not plain denim shirt. This is what I love about it. My satchel is a must. You cannot be suprised by it anymore.

Dancing In The Rain

Two weeks ago me and my family went on a holiday to the lake Lipno. I cannot deny its charm and beauty. Nature there is magnificent. For one whole day was raining cats and dogs, however it had this mysterious atmosphere which I enjoy very much. I love rainy weather. The time I am completely being myself, and want to just a) cuddle myself at home/in the hotel room with nicely warm cup of tea, a book and listen to the piano covers b) go outiside and dance/walk/run in the rain. Sometimes it gets so crazy, that I chant outside aloud "I'm singin' in the rain". My dad actually filmed me last time I did that.

By the way I love my umbrella. My grandpa gave it to me last Autumn. When he asked me, if I want it, I haven't even considered my respond. Who can refuse The New York Times printed on an umbrella? I can't...

Graffiti & Sneakers

Where is the time, when I was in Prague? You can find on every corner something new, something that can surprise you. Well, I was pretty delighted when I bumped into these graffiti that day. Simple art on the street, really photogenic, hiding deeper meaning. Yeah, maybe I am overthinking everything.
