It is OK not to be OK

Hello my readers! It is time to tell you what is going on with me and why I have not been posting any articles. By this post I am trying to encourage myself to be better and do better. Life can be a bitch sometimes. I am so lucky to have people who stand by my side, helping me get through every bump that gets in my way. Still, I need to deal with things all by my self, in my head. Feeling depressed, no motivation...name it. I got through so many feelings in a couple of past months. My mum moving out with my sister, tough school...It was just too much and I couldn't handle it. Today I am here to tell you that it is OK sometimes not to be OK. It is part of our lives. Everyone had tough times in there lives. The important thing is how that person dealed with it. The act. We need to inspire others, encourage people, help them. That is important. I want to share with you a few things that helped me and also a few things I need to work on. It is time to change things a little bit.

I need to:

1) BELIEVE IN MYSELF
This is a tough one. I always everything blame on myself. It is time to trust my guts and start to believe that I am good enough. That I can do whatever I want without questioning myself. It is totally normal to make many mistakes. We are human and we learn from every mistake we make. I have started reading this book called 'Playing Big' by Tara Mohr. I can tell you it is pretty inspiring.

2) SEE THE GOOD IN BAD (TURN NEGATIVITY INTO POSITIVITY)
I need to stop being pessimistic and start to see the good. I can tell you, it is hard. At least for me. Media always try to tell us how the world is a mess and than people start to believe that stuff.

3) FEAR CANNOT STOP ME
'Fear is our worst enemy' they say. And it is true. Now I can see that.

4) DO STUFF (KEEP MYSELF MOVING)
Yes. That is what I need to say on every adventure.

5) ENJOY LITTLE THINGS
Like cup of tea, nice sunset, the sounds of nature...or just a song. You can follow my Summer 2016 Spotify playlist if you want.

6) BE KIND
To everyone, even though they do not behave very nice towards us.

7) READ MORE
This is so easy. I love to just dive into reading.

8) LOVE MORE
Everything.

9) DANCE MORE
I miss dancing so much.

10) MEDITATE
I stopped meditating and I think this is the main reason I have been feeling so down lately. A week ago I started doing yoga again and guys, yoga is a miracle.

11) GO FOR A LONG WALKS
It does not matter if in the forest or in the city. I am planning on trying to do gratitude walks. If you don't know what that means, I am going to shortly clarify this term to you. While you are on your walk, you just start saying outloud the things in your life that you are grateful for. Excuse my poor explaning skills. If you want to more about it there is loads of articles, for example this one.

12) KEEP THE CALENDAR/WEEKLY PLANNER  UPDATED
It helps me to keep track of things I need to do. Without it I feel useless, like I am doing nothing with my life.

13) SPEND MORE TIME WITH FRIENDS

14) WORK WORK WORK

Lucy

Weekly Favourites: I Want to Live in Paris

When all the rush and worries about maturita (final exams here in the Czech Republic) is gone, there is nothing left, nothing to do. Accept entrance exams for college and many other things going on in my live.  It is weird not to go to school. I feel like I am missing something. However, without school, it means I have more time for you! I have not talked to all of you for ages and I missed it so much, you cannot even imagine.

This week started in Prague. I was there for two days. I feel now more confident in this city. I stopped by in Lush, bookshop and my favourite patisserie called "Boulangerie de Paris". If you find yourself in Prague, definitely go there and tag me in your instagram photo, because the food from there tastes just like heaven! I kinda like this city full of life and people....mainly tourists (in the city center).

While I was in the bookshop, I went straight to the section with books in English. I wanted to see what treasures it hides. I was looking through the shelves, when I saw THE one and only book I longed for. How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are. Okay...that is not the truth...I want to own too many books...When it comes to books, my heart starts racing. My arm just quicky grabed the center of my universe (of that moment) and I held it in my arms just like mother holds her child, pressing maybe too much on my chest, until I got to the cashier. I thought they do not sell it in our country. I looked on the internet earlier and could not find it anywhere and now I have it. Insane. I am more than half way through now and I can tell you, it is funny and it makes you move to Paris and eat baguettes or croissants every morning.

Maybelline Color Sensational 527 Lady Red. I mentioned this beautiful red lipstick many times. It lasts on your lips (about half a day and you can eat, drink whatever you want), never smudges. I got compliments on in many times. It does not dry out your lips, which is very pleasant. I love the full colour of this product.

As I said earlier, in Prague I also went to Lush. I bought bubble bath called 'Ultraviolet'. It smells like jasmin and violet. You know how much I love my flowers. I actually haven't tried it yet, but I think this Sunday evening is the right time to give it a go.

The black bikini top in the photo above I bought from F&F. It was super cheap. I think it looks very chick and underlines woman's figure. Especially the ruffles. The midi rings in the picture above are from 'I am' and glasses from GATE.

Share with me your favourites for this week, I always want to hear it!

Coco Chanel: An Intimate Life (by Lisa Chaney)

I thought I'll give you a little peek into my library by showing you my favorite book of the past month or so. I am not completly through the book yet, because I lead pretty busy life right know (loads of stuff to school, singing and drama classes...), however I love it.  I have to say, I admire Coco Chanel more and more with every chapter. I got this gem for my birthday and I cannot be thankful enough!
I am not usually into biographies, but this one is special. The way it is written is just amazing, really fun to read. I always go through pages so quickly!

I also love to read while listening to music on Spotify. My favorite playlist at this moment is 'Indie Acoustic' and HERE is the link.
